The team at Marquee Group recently donated a variety of toys, arts and crafts and soft toys to the Children’s ward at Watford General Hospital.

The hospital does not have a budget for toys/entertainment and rely solely on donations, so all donations are highly appreciated and make a big difference to a child’s hospital stay.

Helen – the Health Play Specialist on the ward has created different areas for children of all ages, including a play area, sensory area and teenage room, helping to put a smile on the faces of these children during such difficult times. Some of the toys are also gifted to children on Birthdays or Christmas.

The Children’s ward at Watford General Hospital has been around for a very long time and deliver an excellent level of care, going above and beyond to make each child feel special. The dedicated rooms and toys often brighten a child’s stay and bring comfort in times of need. If you have any spare toys, we highly recommend looking into donating to your local hospital – it really will go a long way.
